I want to get into the Video Game industry and I am wondering what the jobs are.
I have no clue what type of connection the Samsung HT-X40 home theater speakers are.
I have a good digital camera, that is able to video record. I also have a way to hook it up to my pc and transfer pic & vids to my files. I would like to use this camera as a web cam, my old one is pretty cheap & doesn’t work so well. Does any one know how to hook up a digital camera as a web cam?
I used to download the music/movies for my i-pod on a desktop at my house. Now I have moved out and use a completely different computer. If I try to download i-tunes from my new computer, won’t it erase everything I’ve previously downloaded? How do I keep this from happening? People don’t keep the same computer FOREVER.
So I was talking to my friend about movies (he’s a movie buff) and it came to the point where I was referring to a video game based on a movie.
He said he always pirates games because he thinks a video game isn’t worth the money. When I told him that more work goes into making a game than a movie, he started laughing and said that’s impossible.
I was thinking maybe a making-of documentary would change his perspective. Do you know any sort of documentary about the production of a game, please?

It’s been like an epidemic for years–ever since the invention of the coin-operated arcade game.
With the advent of home-console systems like the NES, the SNES, the Neo-Geo, the Playstation, the PS2, the Wii, the PS3, and even the smaller hand-helds–video game addiction has become a problematic effigy for society.
It’s impact has especially been felt in the on-line gaming communities; whereas whole, productive people have been turned into mindless drones and robots.
While myself, I am by no means prone to video game addiction–as I have 3 game consoles (SNES, Playstation, and the PS2), and a Gameboy Advance–I’ve managed to tame my demons by not playing as much offline and online.
As a writer, I am more focused on my writing than my gaming. But I am also a social person by design–and I get out often; taking walks, exercising, and knowing when and where my limits are.
Unfortunately, there are those out there who are not like me.
